Warehouse Assistant (Casual / Adhoc)
Location: Deer Park, VIC
Pay: From $25/hour (up to $30/hour with experience)
Hours: Casual / Adhoc (a few hours weekly + consistent hours during container arrivals)
About the Role
Driptech is looking for a reliable and hands-on team member to assist in the assembly of high-quality aquarium systems. This is an entry-level position with full training provided, ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision and takes pride in building clean, professional products.
You’ll be involved in assembling glass aquariums up to 6ft (1800mm), contributing to systems used in fish rooms, breeding setups, and large-scale aquariums.
All glass is pre-cut, meaning this role is focused on assembly and finishing, not fabrication.
You will be working on producing our signature Driptech Connect Series of tanks, with the opportunity to progress into working on custom builds as your skills develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with unloading shipping containers
- Handling and moving stock safely within the warehouse
- Re-packaging and labelling products
- Picking and packing orders based on pick slips
- Assisting with stock organisation and storage
- Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse space
- Supporting basic inventory handling and stock counts
- Assisting the team during busy periods and stock arrivals
- Occasionally assisting with transporting orders when required
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Good attention to detail (especially when picking and packing orders)
- Able to work independently or as part of a small team
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
Bonus (Not Required, But Valued)
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience with pick/pack systems or inventory processes
- Interest in hands-on work within a growing business
