- Monitoring silicone curing times and handling tanks appropriately
- Quality checking finished tanks for alignment, finish, and defects
- Packaging completed tanks safely for dispatch
- Managing inventory of glass stock within the factory
- Monitoring stock levels and advising procurement when reordering is required
- Assisting with ordering materials for upcoming jobs and builds
- Using our ERP system to manage, track, and fulfil orders
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail (clean silicone work is critical)
- Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
- Good hand skills and willingness to learn
- Comfortable with manual work and lifting glass panels (6mm)
- Fluent enough in English to understand instructions and communicate clearly
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained
- Own transport preferred (factory based in Deer Park), but not essential
Bonus (Not Required, But Valued)
- Experience with silicone, glazing, or similar trades
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments
- Basic understanding of stock control or inventory management
- Interest in aquariums, fish keeping, or hands-on technical work
What We Offer
- Full training provided – no prior experience required
- Flexible working hours – work during the day or at night
- Entry into a growing and specialised industry
- Pay starting at $25/hour
- Increase to $35/hour once competent and able to work independently
- Opportunity for increased hours and long-term progression
Employment Structure
- This role will begin as a casual position
